my night last night...

hey girlies!
well, i have a funny story for you all. so, last night, the night before christmas eve, i stayed home alone because everyone left for christmas. well, you guys know just how much i hate being home alone, especially at night. i had quite the adventure last night!!
first, our heater is having a really hard time. i turned it up to 90 degrees at about midnight and it still can't quite get above 55 degrees. so starting out it was a rough night! i slept in fleece sweatpants with another pair of sweatpants over those, a tee shirt with a fleece sweatshirt over that, two pairs of socks and gloves. then i added three extra blankets to the two i always have on my bed. then, as long as i kept my head under the blankets i was okay, but as soon as it came out i would wake up from the cold!!!
then, at about 4:00 am amy domokos' fire alarm started going off, so loud i could hear it in my room! well, her room is all locked up, so of course i'm sitting her freaking out, and shivering. i'm about to break down your door when i realize the back door to your room is unlocked (praise the lord!) so i go in and it turns out the battery is dieing. well, normally it just beeps, right? apparently yours runs constantly to let you know the battery is dieing. i just took it out, didn't replace it. no one will be here for the next few days anyway.
so that's my crazy night last night. i have to stop every couple of words to breath hot air on my hands so that i can type this. i can see my breath inside the house!!

Hey girlies

Hey girls, I hope you all are doing well. Amy D and Mariah, how are you girls? I haven't talked to you guys since you left? Anything new and exciting happening? =)...We had a "Holiday Dinner" at our house on Saturday night and Amy made an apple pie!! It was a lot of fun, we should plan more of those dinners next semester. Well, I head out tomorrow night for Minnesota, I talked to my sis today and she said it was 4 degrees yesterday and -10 last night, I think I might die!! Amy, I'm sure you'll be jealous=) Well thats all really... Love you girls!

Hey girls,
Oh man, I just love this site, it is so great!! =)...Amy and I (well mainly just Amy) are trying to post pictures, but its not working very well, dang it! We're coming up with many ideas of what we can do with our house for next semester (like a new years card and stuff) so hopefully with our motivation we will actually get some stuff done=). i sent you all an email invitation to join. join by creating a whole new name and password (i jacked things up so you can't use the busta kappa thing anymore...) then tell me and i will make you a moderator and then you can post things by going to www.blogger.com and logging into busta kappas blog. if that doesn't make any sense tell me. but i think that is how it all goes.
